Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor from Iceland . Anita is well-known for the actress who played Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem began her professional career acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. In her native Iceland she worked on the television, radio, and other shows as an early actress. Briem at the age of 16 moved to London and took part in the production of Lenin In Love at The New End Theater. Briem was a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at the age of 19 and was awarded the John Barton Prize and a diploma in drama. While studying at RADA was a participant in a large number of productions, such as The Cherry Garden by Anton Chekhov and Bernarda Alba's house by Federico Garcia Lorca . Briem continued her career acting in London performing in productions like Catalog of Misunderstanding (directed by Mike Figgis) at the National Theater Studio.
